A pair of escaped convicts meet up with a group of gangsters by a remote forest road. After an arguement over a girl the mobsters have kidnapped, shots are fired and one of the gangsters is killed. The standoff is cut short, however, when the dead man suddenly springs to life and starts trying to kill his former friends. The zombie eventually goes down in a hail bullets, but their problems aren\'t over. It seems the gangsters have been using this forest to dispose of of their victims, all of whom are now looking to settle some old scores. Even if they get through this mess, there is still the question of why they\'ve arranged to meet the convicts out here, and why they\'ve brought along the girl. How are they connected to the dead bodies coming back to life?
Crazy japanese fantasy/action/comedy movie, think evil dead crossed with japanese action comedy (+ gun wielding zombies!).

Re: cinema asiatico
The story of the blind swordsman Zatoichi should be well known to most aficionados of Japanese cinema. I was thrilled when
i heard that Takeshi Kitano (of all people) would be making a re-make of the classic series. And i was not disappointed.
The blind masseur/swordsman Zatoichi stumbles upon a lone widow when he comes walking in the countryside. He helps her carry a basket and she tells him of her problems while he is invited to stay with her. The local town is plagued by a war between different criminal factions and the protection rates are constantly going up. Soon two geishas also arrive in town with their own agenda, linked to one of the warring gangs.
Zatoichi is a beautiful film in my opinion. Everything from photography and scenery to music is exceptionally well tuned to the mood of the film. Also the action sequences are very well made, the fencing well choreographed and nicely shot. What distracted me somewhat though is the use of liquid animation for the blood. There is almost no usual fake blood in this movie, rather it’s liquid animation-blood spraying when people are stabbed. This looks odd, but it’s still a minor distraction.
Zatoichi feels both like a nice tribute to 60’s and 70’s samurai-films as well as a fresh take on the genre. Both modern and classic, which is one of the finest compliments i feel you can give a movie like this one. I enjoyed it very much

Teen comedy about college students and they\'re campus life. Gross, funny and touching.
After 2 years in the Navy, 28-year-old Eunsik (Lim Chang-Jung) returns to college where he takes up a hardcore Cha-Ryeok taekwondo practice. Imagine his surprise, when he discovers that the university\'s female aerobics team (led by gorgeous Eunhyo (Ha Ji-Won )) will be training right alongside him. Naturally, our hero\'s focus shifts from pumping iron to picking up the ladies. And, just as naturally, the attraction isn\'t exactly mutual at first.

Synopsis
Young, athletic girls are abducted and trained in a secret Southeast Asian camp to become lethal assassins. Charlene (Maggie Q) is one of three to survive the training. On assignment, she rediscovers her humanity after reuniting with her mother (Cheng Pei-pei) and falling in love with a CIA agent (Daniel Wu) sent to bring her in.
Review ( Not exactly a critics favorite, it really is exploitation trash with gorgeous girls. But what else would you expect from Jing Wong the king of exploitation trash. Did I mention the girls are gorgeous!! : p )
For want of a better parallel, Naked Weapon is a cross between La Femme Nikita and Battle Royale (kind of like a twisted Survivor) with a bit of Charlie\'s Angels, Basic Instinct and The Matrix thrown in for good measure. This movie was touted as a long-awaited sequel to Naked Killer however it holds more depth than its predecessor and, thanks to the lead actresses, exudes a more civilised sexuality that actually drives the plot rather than just being a cheap voyeuristic perve at female nudity.(Hmmm not sure about that )

Directed: Yudai Yamaguchi
Genre: Comedy/Sports/Action
Battlefield Baseball (地獄甲子園, Jigoku Kōshien?, literally Hell Stadium) also known as Battlefield Stadium, is a Japanese film. Released in 2003, the film was directed by Yudai Yamaguchi and written by Gatarô Man, based on his manga of the same title. It stars Tak Sakaguchi, Atsushi Itō, and Hideo Sakaki. It was produced by Ryuhei Kitamura.
The film is a combination of several genres, mixing martial arts action with the clichés of the sports film—particularly skewering baseball, one of Japan\'s most popular high school sports—and the violence and brutality of a horror film. The film\'s bizarre—sometimes almost incoherent—plot, blood & gore, and unique comedy have given it something of a \"cult\" popularity in the West.
Though the film is ostensibly about high school baseball rivalries, the amount of actual baseball in the film is fairly light. There are many scenes involving bats and balls, however.
